The 30th Germanic Linguistics Annual Conference

Indiana University Bloomington

About GLAC

GLAC is the annual conference of the Society for German Linguistics (SGL), the largest and most active organization in North America to serve the broad community of scholars teaching and researching in Germanic Linguistics and Philology. GLAC brings together scholars of the Germanic languages from across the globe every year for two days of enriching discussions.

This year, GLAC will be preceded by a 1-day symposium on Thursday, April 25 in honor of our mentor and colleague Kari Ellen Gade. The symposium will welcome papers on Germanic philology and historical linguistics.

The full sessions of GLAC will take place Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.

Information on joining the Society for Germanic Linguistics can be found here.
